Running Luce Ranch breeding objectives are focused on developing exceptional Brangus cattle with structural soundness, breed leading EPDs and perfect conformance.  We are aiming high every day to move the breed forward by developing Brangus cattle with unmatched performance and ‘front pasture’ phenotype.  The goal of our program is to offer the highest quality Brangus cattle which create distinctive value for the cattlemen who choose us.

Our top priority for our registered Brangus cattle is to produce Structurally Sound, Moderate-Framed Brangus Cattle with Breading Soundness, good Maternal Instincts and Exceptional Conformance.  Our breeding choices are made to develop bulls and heifers which LEAD the industry in all expected progeny differences (EPDs).  Careful selection of donors and the bull genetics are designed to target top 25% or better in ALL EPDs; low birth weight and maximum spread to wean weight / year weight, maternal traits and carcass traits ALL are important to create optimal value from the cow-calf operation through to delivering Prime Grade Beef to the end user.
