Running Luce Ranch breeding objectives are focused on developing exceptional Brangus cattle that lead the breed in genomic performance, built right, and have the longevity and fleshing ability to last..  We set the standard high in order to move the breed forward by developing Brangus cattle with unmatched performance and a ‘front pasture’ phenotype.  The goal of our program is to offer the highest quality cattle that will create a distinctive value for the cattlemen who choose us.

The top priority for our registered Brangus is to produce structurally sound, moderate-framed cattle with the genetic script and bloodlines that back cornerstone kind performance.  Our breeding choices are made to develop bulls and heifers which LEAD the industry in all expected progeny differences (EPDs).  Careful selection is ensured to provide genetics that are designed to target top 25% or better in ALL EPDs; low birth weight and maximum spread to wean weight / year weight, maternal traits and carcass traits are all important to create optimal value from our cow-calf operation to reach prime grading beef premiums.
